On August 19, 2016, the 10th successor to Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey was elected President General [PG] of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. His name is Michael R. Duncan. As such, it is with great pleasure and pride that we (re)introduce the President General, Hon. Michael R. Duncan

For the ones who took us into captivity and their attempted genocide on we Africans,
please be aware that they are not able to continue our demise without our assistance whether it be conscious or subconscious on our parts. This encompasses all parts of the society, whether it be education, religion, culture, arts, or music.

There is no people as powerful as a people who know who they are. Once you know who you are; once you know who your god is, there is no stopping you because the ancestors walk by your side. The gods walk with you when you know who you are.

Our founder, Marcus Mosiah Garvey, placed a great emphasis on productivity as he recognized the intimate relationship between the means of production and the character of a people. He recognized that social character is determined by the nature of social and labor relations.
Furthermore, Mr. Garvey recognized that consuming their products would not rescue us from subordination.
